Is it too late?Suggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: Hi, I've been doing this play for a few months, and I've slowly but surely developed feelings for one of the girls in the cast. The show ended a couple days ago, and I admitted this to her at the cast party in a joke so that it would'nt feel too uncomfortable. Specifically I said " Every guy that I've ever known that has seen you has said who's that girl she's sooo hot, I wanna get with her. Now when they would said this I would be like (shrug) she's okay" then she punched me in the arm and laughed. I continued " Then when I saw you dance I was like that's the most attractive thing I've ever seen, you're the most multi'talented actress in the show and you made me less shallow" Then she thanked me and hugged me. Now a couple of questions. 1. Was that not a good compliment? My point was that although she is clearly beautiful I like her because she's nice and talented. 2. Is she worth pursuing? I mean I really like her, but we're both seniors in high school, and she's going to Duke, which is 6 hours away from theschools I've gotten into. It's realy been bumming me out. Our Suggestion: Your compliments were excellent and she seemed to like them a lot. Whether you should pursue her is a good question. I assume she has no boyfriend--are you sure of this? She sounds quite attractive from the way you describe her. The next problem is the obvious one that you will be long distance next fall and that is a difficult road to travel. But, you have nothing to lose and about five months to build a relationship. So, why not ask her out? The worst that can happen is she says no. The best that could happen is you eventually get married and live happily ever after. You won't know unless you try. Good luck! George --Your Friendly Advisors at RomanceClass.com
