The problem is that he seems not to want to get married even though we are engaged. I really want to get married but when I bring it up he tells me that we will get married but,"who knows when". I am not sure why he would propose to me but not want to get married. I am even to the point of thinking that I should do something to change his mind, maybe break-up with him or give him a time line. We live together and do not have kids and i am wondering if that is the reason he wont get married. I stopped wearing my engagement ring about 10 months ago and now I do not refer to him as my fiancee but just my boyfriend. I try to act like if it does not hurt my feelings and now I am thinking that I am the one who is going to say that I do not want to get married. I also think that if I do get married I am going to have to do everything and he is just going to show up. You seem to be ready to tell him to put up or shut up. After all, three years is plenty of time to wait. Ask him if you are still engaged. And if he says no then you should start to think of whether you want to stay with him. Do you want kids and a marriage relationship? If so, you had better start making some noise about the situation.
