I still love him with my whole heart but I went ahead and dated other people because he was dating my best friend. Well, about a couple of days ago he called me and asked me to come talk to him, and he needed a favor. I did it just so i could see him and confront him about the past. Instead of confronting him i just felt totally in love with him and butterflies all over again. Well, he called me and told me that night that he has missed me so much and wants to start over. I told him that we needed to start out as friends then we will work out better. He is back with his girlfriend because i said not yet. Well, i talked to his best friend today and he said that my ex still loves me and told him that he wishes he could take it all back. The friend told me that i should give my ex this letter i wrote him that told him that i regret telling him that we need to wait. and that i regret not telling him how i felt about him all a long. and that i did love him. One of the hardest things to find in the world is a relationship where you can really talk, get along, be best friends to each other. If he doesn't think that's worth working on, he better learn more about relationships soon.
