Should I continueSuggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: Hi I'm 20 years old and I have had a crush on my best friend for a very long time. We get along together great and we have become really close. I always had the feeling that she liked me because of all the signs and how we got along. But then I had to move to another city about 500 miles away. We were still in communication and still close. She even sent me a picture of her and said in the back of the picture, "to have me there whenever you want." Then I learned that she has a boyfriend. So should I continue to try to make her my girlfriend or do you think it is completely over and give up? Even when she still has a boyfriend I still get the feeling that she is attracted to me when I come and visit. Please help me. Our Suggestion: If you continue to live 500 miles apart, my advice is to end it with her. That distance just isn't going to work out in the long run. Since she means a lot to you, you should consider moving back where she is and then trying to make things up with her. You would just be a friend so that you don't tempt her to cheat on her boyfriend. If she asks why you returned tell her the truth--you wanted to be near her. Good luck!
