Visitor's Question:
My ex and I broke 4 months ago. We worked together in the same place and we had an incredible friendship and were so very much ourselves with each other that everyone used to tell us we should get married. She used to say things that appeared to go to that direction. But once we had a fight, and she asked for some time off. At the same time she was moved to a spot near the director where there were a bunch of people who didn't like her too much. After our time off she decided to break up with me. Two weeks later on a job party I saw her very attentive to the director, and they eventually became boyfriend-girlfriend. I ended up going to a psychologist because I couldn't understand why she took that decision. She is very religious and is 27 as me, and the director is 40, recently divorced with 5 kids, often gets to work with alcohol breath, know to be a womanizer adn even having fligs with men. I had to see her with him for 3 months in the job, and it was very difficult, since she still tried to make me jealous and he had a bad attitude to me. She was forced to resign a week ago due to this, and she doesn't have many friends. I am affraid of what will happen to her, my therapists says it is very probable it will be a violent relationship which she had gone once in her past already. So I have two questions 1) what can I do to make her see this is not a good choice for her, she has already lost her job over this, what else will she have to sacrifice?, and 2) is it possible I could get a second chance with her, I know we are very good together? At the end I am very worried about her, and I just want her to be ok, even if it means she won't come back. Please help me out.

Our Suggestion:
My main advice is to talk and listen to your psychologist. He/she is far closer to your situation than I could ever be.

If you are in a talking relationship with her, share your concerns about what is happening in your life.

Tell her you want a second chance with her and that you think you two make a very good couple.

Good luck! George
