Can I love him?Suggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: Hey =] I read the general correspondance about feelings of love, and I definitely get them--ha, boy, do I ever. But my boyfriend and I have only been going out for 4 1/2 months, and its not like we're adults, we're only 15. My best friend is sold on the fact that my boyfriend and I are in love, and she wrote something about how it can only be realized if someone else shoved it in your face. which she, of course, did to me. So she's said it twice to me, along with my other friend, and several other people who, although younger than 10 years old, still said it. My boyfriend and I tell each other everything, and we both say that maybe it's true, but really? In my attempts to not be naive, I overthink things and tend to sometimes run to by best friend for support or a second opinion. oi vey. Our Suggestion: If you and your boyfriend only think it is "maybe true" then it probably isn't. At your age it is more likely that you would feel very strong emotions if you were in love. This doesn't mean you are not in love, just that it is only a small possibility. Wait until you have strong feelings before you are convinced you are in love. Ignore the busybody friends who are sticking their noses in where they don't belong. Good luck! George --Your Friendly Advisors at RomanceClass.com
