Why does he check me out if he's not interested in a relationship with me??

There's this guy who I really like but I don't want a relationship with him right now because I am doing personal growth and I really need time to heal. When I went to the fencing demonstration my crush was checking me out from the back door. Then my bestfriend goes up to him like 3 days later and she asks him if he likes me and he says "I am flattered, but I am not interested in a relationship right now." Ok, I don't even want a relationship with him...well maybe I just don't want it right now, I just wanted to know if he likes me or not. He stills checks me out though. What does that mean and what should I do?



Our Suggestion:
Give this another two weeks and see how you feel. If you want to be with him then get the message to him that you are "developing feelings" for him and see what he says.

He probably just needs a little time to get used to the idea.
