How to win the love of my life back?!!Suggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: I am 26 years old and I was with my boyfriend for 10 months... we soon fell deeply in love with each other and talked about our future openly - we had planned to spend the rest of our lives together! We had many holidays (two nights, always once a month and two main holidays) together. Before my second holiday my ex had began to go cooler on me. not showing as much affection, not calling or texting as often as he did with loving words, and a week after returning back from our second holiday... he called round looking sheepish and acting oddly. That night he broke up with my saying 'we just simply didn't get on' and that he wanted to 'be on his own' and he was 'sorry'. So that was it I accepted and left it at that. After a week of no contact, he one-day popped up online (msn messenger) and has since been chatting to me most evenings... I always appear happy and bubbly every time we chat - I never once mention 'us' or 'what we had together' - I've never begged him to come back, however, he'll initated conversation first. asking how I am doing, asking for my opinion on his new car and what I'd been upto at the weekends... then he'd go on about how great his weekends are, how busy he is all the time etc etc. When we were together he never bothered about going out, he'd happily stay in with me (his decision always) and now he's like a new person, partying every weekend and working longer hours etc. Is he trying to make me jealous? Does he still care for me deep down? Am I wasting my time holding out for him? What do you think the deal is here?? Our Suggestion: It appears that he likes you as a friend and that's why he contacts you so often. Beyond guesswork, I can't say whether he is trying to make you jealous or if he still cares for you deep down. You can wait and see what develops or take the bull by the horns and ask him out for dinner "as friends." Perhaps you could get more information from him over dinner. Good luck!
