I Still Love Him and Don't Want To Let Him GoSuggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: In mid January of this year (2008), I met my ex online. We talked strictly on IM for about 3 months and then he began calling me and we talked for hours every night on the phone. We had so much in common and he made me feel so special with the way he talked to me. At the time he lived in Iowa and a few months after we had met, he moved up to Wisconsin to be with me, even though he was still and hour and a half away. I fell in love with him so fast and wanted to see him so badly. About 5 months after we met online, he finally came to see me in person. We got along so well. He treated me wonderfully and constantly told me how much he loved me and how lucky he was and how beautiful I was, he made me so happy. He saw me a few times over this past summer and we made some great and wonderful memories together. I was so in love with him. We had sex a few times after about 7 months, only because I trusted him so much. He always told me he'd never leave me and he'd be with me through the good and the bad, for better or for worse. On September 16 he told me it was over. It's been about 2 and a half weeks and I haven't heard anything from him. I still love him and I want him back in my life so bad, but I don't know what to do. He hasn't contacted me once yet and since he's an hour and a half away, I can't see him regularly or anything like that. I know he still loves me. We had a beautiful relationship and we had so many things planned. I don't want to let him go but I don't know what I should do. Our Suggestion: First thing to do is call him. If he hasn't explained why he broke up with you then ask him. Tell him you still love him and want to get back together. Once you have laid your cards on the table, it is up to him to respond. Hopefully this was just a passing thing and he was going through a rough patch in his life. Offer to help him if he needs it. Best of luck! George --Your Friendly Advisors at RomanceClass.com
