I don't want to lose her, but I don't want to lose myself either.Suggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: ok, so the last question i asked, you gave me an answer concerned with satuatory rape (im 16, she's 14). I understand the laws, and i'm perfectly capable of avoiding too much intimacy when i see her in december. However, this girl that i only get to see 2 times out of the year through our youthgroup, has promised me her viginity once she hits the legal age. Well, she has been acting like she has declared herself my girlfriend, but there are girls that live near me that i would like to date, and she doesn't seem to understand that I can't keep the relationship going at the distance we live apart. It's not as if i don't like her, becuase i really do! But she seems to think of that as a kind of cheating. If i'm going to have a girlfriend, i would have to be able to see them at LEAST twice a month! How can i get her to understand my dillema? Don't forget i have been single for over a year. Our Suggestion: She is putting you in an unreasonable situation. Long distance romance is extremely difficult to maintain. Her expectations of you are too restrictive. Write her or tell her that you need to see girls closer to you and that one of them could become your girlfriend. You will be doing her a favor by being honest. You could also be doing her a favor since she will then feel more comfortable seeing guys. Good luck! George --Your Friendly Advisors at RomanceClass.com
