JealousySuggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: Hi, Thank you for considering my question. My gf and I have been seeing each other for 6 months and it's been perfect. We met in high school last year and started dating. Now I am i'm college but she is still in her last year of high school. This is where the problem arises. We don't see each other in school every day, which I think is the problem. I have to admit I am a little too suspicious sometimes, but i've really tryed not to be. One day a guy was meeting her at her house and I had to ask about it. After talking to her I found out that it was for something in school and not a big deal. I felt stupid for even bringing the subject up. Afterward we were great agin for like 2 months until she started mentioning another guy who she sees at school a lot almost every day when we talked on the phone. I got jealous but I never said anything. I thought it was just me. Then one weekend we weren't able to see each other because she is in the school play, along with this other guy, who she convinced to join. To make a a long story short, after the play her attitude toward me changed, and she still talked about this other guy, so I had all I could stand and finnaly decided to do something about it. I tried beating around the bush, giving her the chance to say somrthing about between her and this other guy, but she never did. I was finally forced to just ask if she was having doubts about our realtionship. She admitted to flirting with the other guy, and getting closer to him. Again we never fought I just told her to be careful, beacuse that kind of behavior may pull her away from me. She said if she broke up with me she would lose the best thing that ever happened to her, and that the other guy has a girlfriend so he wouldn't go out with her anyway. Do you think she might see this guy as better then me and is now stringing me along? If so what should I do? should I break up with her? Our Suggestion: Life is a risk. You seem to be dealing with it better than most people. You would gain nothing by breaking up with her and there is no reason to as far as I can see. Her behavior seems perfectly normal and harmless and she is honest with you. Trust her and enjoy life! George --Your Friendly Advisors at RomanceClass.com
