Why did he do this Suggest Advice Do you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: He was still seeing someone when we became closer than friends. He had not been w/her in years. We started seeing each other he was going to leave her. He started to compare a possible sex life me vs. her. I over reacted and he dumped me instead. I tried to say I was sorry and he said I was being nasty after all the things he said an dumped me. I asked for more and he chose her. I said I was sorry and he dumped our 10 year friendship after only beginning a relationship 2 years ago. He told me to trust him and I did not but I did. it's obvious how tempting this was and he won't ever talk to me again. What do I do because I have never had a fight w/ a friend.? Our Suggestion: Call him every two weeks or three and tell him you still care for him and want to continue to be friends. Tell him you are sorry for what you said. He will eventually come around.
