She's trying to get close to me. Suggest Advice Do you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: I'm 18 and she is 17. This girl is trying to get close to me, I know she is. I can tell she likes me. We talk a lot, and I enjoy talking to her - but I don't find that she is my type that I would normally date or get involved with. I don't want to be thinking that and then get involved with her, because I believe I'll have that doubt in the back of my mind. My problem is that I have been single for a few years, and I really miss that female companionship. I want someone there to kiss and hold and possibly be intimate with. I don't know what to do. One part of me just wants to be really close to a female in general, but the other part of me doesn't want to get comitted to someone who I don't trust myself with as it isn't usually someone I would normally go after. What should I do? Our Suggestion: My advice is to stay friends, but don't go any further because, as you said, she is not your type.
