Will he ever make the leap?Suggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: Ok so im a sophomore in highschool. I found this great guy last year and we really hit it off. We were practically in all the same classes so it was a great way to get to know each other. Problem was he had a girlfriend. I tried to keep my distance after finding out but they barely ever saw each other and we flirted unintentionally ALOT. After they broke up i figured things were going to start to happen but they didnt. We were really close and never actually kissed but were always all over each other throughout the year. summer was a drag. He went off to florida for baseball and we didnt see each other at all. I thought about him alot but what could i do....he was 1300miles away =[ Sophomore year recently started and we kinda continued where we left off. I was getting sick of the games and flat out asked him if anything was ever going to happen between us. [i'm now wondering if that was a big mistake] He told me that we were to good of friends and he didnt want to ruin that. (couldnt tell if it was BS) He also said indirectly that it would be akward dating somone in the same classes as him. He also said he like me at many points but we were to immature to make moves on each other. Yet he still flirts incessantly [plays with my hair, touches my hands when he can at the most random times, even talks to me about his serious problems- and i mean serious like he might possibly have heart disease. I try to help him with these problems and have told him that im always there for him] He now has a girlfriend and still flirts with me. I'm really caught up and dont know what to do. I'm not gonna lie: i want him really bad and i just want "us" to work but at the rate things are going, i'm not sure if they ever will. I keep telling myself to get over him but i just can't seem to. What should i do? Should i try to reel-him-in (and how)? or should i just let it go? Im soooo confused...please help!! ~Mass Girl Our Suggestion: He likes to flirt with you but he has had two girlfriends while he does this. You spoke your mind and he turned you down but keeps flirting. While it will be hard for you to do, you need to let go of your strong romantic feelings. Keep being his friend and maybe something will develop but don't expect anything. One thing that should be mentioned is that you two are not too immature to have physical contact like kissing, etc. He is off-track when he says that. Good luck!
