I wrote him love notes but didn't sign them (because I'm very shy). Later he found out I wrote them and started avoiding me, so we only talked now and then. (but we've known eachother for almost forever) Now I'm in grade 9 and still I like him. And still he seems like he's avoiding me. Some of my friends say maybe it's because he likes me, but I think it's because he doesn't. Please Please Please help me. And thanx in advance for any advice. Our Suggestion: Of course the only person who knows what is going on in his brain is him. Guys can be just as spooked by 'stalkers' as girls can be, and having someone chasing you can be a very unsettling experience. Most great relationships begin with great friendships and if you lept right over that into the love note stage he has a right to feel uncertain about how this whole thing will play out. I would take a few steps back and work on the friendship again. You need to show him that you're not an insane stalker - you're someone who really does care about him as a person. Assume that his hesitation to talk to you is his being unsure of your intentions. So make it your mission to show him that you're friendly and fun and simply like him as a person. Chat with him in the halls. Ask him if he knows what the homework was. Mention something fun on TV that night. In essence, flirt.
