kiss on the cheek - hit or miss?Suggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: So basically I went out on a first date with this guy - It was long coming. We've been through a lot of drama to get there. The date was perfect, he was perfect. Total gentleman, treated me like a princess. Opened doors for me, paid for everything. There was some major flirting and I for sure felt some chemistry between us. At the end of the night some of the things we talked about even got out of context leading towards sexual innuendos. THEN arrived at my house, itt was pouring rain and he asked if I 'needed help walking to my door'. Of course I said no - I figured that if he wanted to help me he would have gotten out of his car and done so and not asked. So then it was kind of awkward and I couldn't look at him in the face and he just sat there and was doing something with his lips like smacking them together or something. I didn't see but I heard. So I leaned in for a hug and thanked him and said goodbye and what not. HE THEN KISSED ME ON THE CHEEK!? Is that BAD? He then told me he'll hit me up sometime. Oh and another incident during the date where I felt like I 'shut him down' was when we were walking towards the car, I was sort of walking under a ledge, he smoothly put his arms around my waist and pulled in but I playfully pushed him away and told him that he deserved to get soaked bc he didn't bring his umbrella! It was his bday the other day and I text him with 'happy happy bday muah!' in which he responded with thank you for the message, but didn't mention anything about my 'muah' So my questions for you are: Is it bad that he kissed me on the cheek at end of the night? why didn't he mentioned anything about my 'muah' in my bday text. Do i try to have a conversation with him via texts? Do i wait for him to call me? Do I call him? Do you think he is interested? Thank you so much! Our Suggestion: Don't worry things to death. It makes for nerve-wracking relationships. Go with the flow and let things happen as they will. You could take the next step and ask him out. You sound very inexperienced if you are the age you checked off. Make every effort to be more open to intimacy. Don't leave it all up to him because now he probably thinks you are too cold for him. If you live alone consider inviting him in for a drink. Good luck! George p.s. next time face him and lean in for a kiss on the mouth --Your Friendly Advisors at RomanceClass.com
