Taking a Cheater backSuggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: My boyfriend and I have dated over a year recently I just found some texts on his phone from two different girls. Texts that incriminated him flirting and possibly dating them. I was surprised because he is an excellent nice person who no one would ever expect this from. I love him and when I confronted him he stated that he loves me (this morning) he said he has been texting them for three weeks and didn't feel like he and I were working out at the time.He swears that he only text them and nothing more. I believe him, but to me it is considered cheating. Our families are real close so I feel I have no one to talk to without making him look like a bad guy. I know if I do start to talk about him that we could possible be over for good. My question is, does this make me a bad person? Am I putting my worth on the back burner if I want to take him back? Our Suggestion: Obviously the texts are a bad sign. If he only texted them and if it was only flirting it is not cheating in my opinion. Almost everyone flirts sometimes. There is nothing wrong with taking him back. Make it clear that he should not be flirting because it hurts you. Also promise him you will not do it either. I'm not talking about casual personal light flirting which is ok-- always in reason. Good luck! George --Your Friendly Advisors at RomanceClass.com
