I dont have a clue...help!Suggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: Ok, on the last day of school I started talking to a girl through myspace. There is a connection for sure. We had some really long chats on myspace. but I have never dated or talked to a girl in my life (Literally not even once). When were in person im pretty tense, and im afraid I was too quiet when we hung out in person. we still keep in touch online. So basically I dont know how to hold up a convo in person. I dont know how to flirt, and she knows about my history with women, and how Im a newb which helps, but....ehhh I think I just got into this game way to late. I hope im not screwed. I'll take any advide. I know if I can get past this nervous barrier she'll really be into me. Our Suggestion: You are thinking about yourself too much. That's what makes you shy. Think about her when you are talking with her. Ask her questions about her family, pets, grandparents, vacations, music, drama, DVDs, movies, hobbies, sports, walks, going to the beach, dining out, RomanceClass, the Internet, FB, trips to foreign countries or different states, clothing, shoes, make up, teachers, classes, next school year, cars, concerts, etc. Some of these are harder to talk about than others. Always be ready to ask followup questions. For example if you ask about pets and she says they have a dog. Then ask her what's it's name, what breed, how old, whose responsibility is it to feed, walk, cleanup after it. But don't make it a final exam :) When she says she has a dog you should immediately say "Yes, we have one too--it's name is Bowser." Try to make the conversation back and forth. When you are talking about a topic, make that topic the most important thing to you without getting hyper about it. Once you get used to it you will be able to talk about one tiny topic for an hour and while you are talking you will get into interesting bypaths about other things. Practice this a little online but don't waste all your topics. There are 100s of topics but sometimes it isn't easy to think of them. Oh, another topic: college (or "What's after high school.") Good luck! George p.s. ALWAYS smile and use smileys. Say her name. --Your Friendly Advisors at RomanceClass.com
