Confused on how/what to do Suggest Advice Do you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: Well, i've been wondering for a while about this one shy girl liking me. And i like her too. About a few months ago we both knew we did, but it just kinda died and kinda was left to hang in the air. Well, my friend, came across this topic talking to her, and then later told me...that she misses me(we go to seperate schools but live really close by) but shes unsure she still likes me b/c we havent seen each other in a long time b/c both of us are taking time consuming classes. she also said she wouldnt know what to say to me, which could be b/c shes shy and afraid of saying something embarrassing. But, once november is over, generally, both of us will have more time. So most of the time we just chat on the computer and sometimes its obvious she's flirting with me....but she's all shy and stuff, so, im beginning to run out to things to talk to her about.....how could i do so to make her feel more comfortable. and possibly a good idea to go with her somewhere. there is a park/lake near out house and....shes quiet and shy, and i really like spending quiet moments with her, so would that be a good idea, or just....straight upp...movies or something.....? Our Suggestion: Your idea about going to the park is an excellent one. You will be physically together which is a good thing and getting exercise which is another good thing. Conversation will be easy if you LISTEN and THINK about what she is saying. It all comes down to caring about her and how she feels. Then you will naturally have ideas about what to talk about. It will take time before you feel really natural with her. Keep in mind it isn't easy for her either since she is shy. Tell her you enjoy walking with her and that she is an interesting person. Talk about family, vacations, pets, school, music, friends, hobbies, etc. If you run out of things to talk about, play a game like naming all animals that start with the letter "B" but only play games rarely as a space filler. When your walk is over, tell her you enjoyed it and would like to do it again. Set a date if you can. Also tell her you want to go to a movie sometime and discuss plans. Good luck!
