Visitor's Question: My boyfriend and i just started dating, but we were distant friends before that. we talked nonstop for weeks, but he had a girlfriend and i liked him... she broke his heart and i helped to heal it... after a little while, we began dating. we still talk from the time we wake up, until the time we go to sleep. we makeout constantly and are very sexually attracted to each other. he told me he loves me and i love him, but we are still in school. he even says that he wants to marry me... i feel that i love him, the nervous-ness and shaking, but i want to make sure that's what you would call this because it feels like more... I am thinking you *are* feeling love. If you have deep conversations and talk all night long, and feel a special closeness to each other, then it seems more like love than just infatuation. Sexual feelings are normal in your age group, but simply wanting to be with someone physically isn't love. It sounds like you two have more than just that. Love is the wanting to be helpful to each other, to be caring (as when you helped him with a past broken heart), to be best of friends together. Since you just started dating, I would take some time and see if the excitement you feel is for real.
