She Wants Only FriendshipSuggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: So there's this girl I really like but i don't know what she's trying to do. I started to chat with her 3 months ago, and we had some great dates together. But the problems start here.... she doesn't want me to be her BF or any relationship with me! If so, then why does she still keeps chatting with me? She calls me ''sweety'' !? And as soon as school starts she wants to meet me again? Why is she doing this to me? What is she trying to do? She might be lying to me all the time? Our Suggestion: It sounds like the girl likes you as a friend. She enjoys spending time with you but she doesn't want to date you. That is a very common situation. I don't think she's lying at all. I think she likes you. Just not in "that way" - she doesn't want to be a romantic partner. If you DO want to be her romantic partner, then you have to take this slowly. You need to prove to her through your actions that you are worthy of being that romantic partner. So keep being fun to be with, keep being someone she enjoys spending time with. And along the way, figure out just what it is she's seeking in a romantic partner. Pay attention to the things she says about other boys in school. Is she upset at someone for being a bully? Is she proud of someone for being a great musician? Put together the clues and determine what it is that attracts her to a guy. Then see if these are areas you can shine in. I'm not saying to change for her - that rarely works well. But if you've always wanted to learn how to play the guitar, and it turns out she loves musicians, this might be the ideal time to sign up for lessons. See where your natural interests and her desires line up. Lisa --Your Friendly Advisors at RomanceClass.com
