It was going well and then he showed upSuggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: The best friend of one of my housemates is a very attractive girl. Since moving in I've had an excuse to talk to her. Unexpectedly, upon running into her randomly she asked for my number and gave me hers. Since then we went on a walk, and I invited her over for dinner and a movie at our house. A week ago she canceled a second walk with me to hang out with a friend, I suspected it was a guy but didn't care. Halloween night she came over and watched movies with my housemate and the guy friend, who happens to live with a good friend of mine. He apparently intends to date her, and they were sitting close to one another during the movies(I showed up only at the tale end due to events that I was host to and therefore was absent when the seating arrangements cam into play). She didn't behave particularly attracted to him, but then he mentioned that the day she skipped out on our walk they were watching a season of "firefly". She agreed to a dinner date with me even before all of this and we are going out to eat in day or two. In passing she also mentioned that my housemate has a serious crush on this guy, though he is only interested in the girl I'm after. Should I be worried? Thanks to our dinner date I've decided to just trust in my own worthiness, though I am insecure to a point. What should I do? Would it make sense to believe that he might even be off limits due to her friend's crush? Does it sound like she is at least interested in me and that I am still in the game? Thanks, and sorry for the long question. Our Suggestion: It sounds like you are both in the game. Do what you can to spend time with her, and let her know in no unclear terms that you are interested. She might only like you as a friend, or she might be interested right back. Go for it. --Your Friendly Advisors at RomanceClass.com
