I'm in a very difficult and special situation and would like advice.Suggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: I am visually impaired and in love for the first time. My situation is quite tragic, as the man I've fallen in love with, is thirty years old. He's my guitar teacher and he already has a girlfriend. What should I do? I think about him all the time, but he lives together with his girlfriend. I think I should forget him. A love relationship would be difficult whatsoever. the age difference, the experience that comes with age, me wanting to discover certain things that hes'already done, the reaction that the people around us will have... Impossible? The hardest thing for me is, that because I'm visually impaired and can't see people's 'reactions', their expressions (smiling, sarcastic, staring, mad), I don't really know what he thinks of me. I'm quite shy, so I dont'dare to ask, "What do you think of me?". Also, from what I remember from when I still was able to see well, people's eyes and the way they look at you says a whole lot (i.e. looking you over, trying to make eye contact). That is something I can't do anymore and what I can't see other people doing... so I don't know if my little love, my guitar teacher, looks at me in a certain way. He might, because he thinks that I can't see that anyways. .) Evil. Can you help me? I added him to Msn and Hyves, so we also have contact during the week, plus we e-mail about the lessons as well. I'mplanning to go to a concert of his band (he sings and plays the guitar) with my best friend who can see well. It'll be a lot of fun and we might meet him after the concert (wow). I would like to get closer to him, meet him more often (go to his home or him visiting mine) and doing fun things together. We like the same music. The problem is that I think that he thinks that I'm too young or too "childish" to hang out with. He'd rather hang out with people from his own age, I guess... Hopefully you can give me tips that apply to my situation. As you can see well, you might be able to give me suggestions from a different perspective. PS. I'm sorry if my English isn't that good at times. I'm not a native speaker. Our Suggestion: I think if your teacher has a girlfriend that you need to respect that. He might be very happy with her. You can certainly have a crush on him though! Enjoy your lesson time with him, appreciate his music, go to listen to his band with your girlfriend, and just feel the nice glow you get from liking someone so much. You might never act on it, but a little warm love in your heart can still be a fun experience. We've all been there. --Your Friendly Advisors at RomanceClass.com
