Our Suggestion: It sounds like her interest is in this other guy first, and with you as a 'backup plan' - which I am sure you will agree is not really fair to you. Either confront her on this (nicely!), or move on. Tell her you would like to date her and ask if she likes you. If she hesitates in answering you, you will have the answer to your question. Maybe later on she will forget about this other fellow and realize how great you are! But don't carry a torch for someone whose heart lies elsewhere.
