How do I carry a discreet inspiration?Suggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: I have a good friend whom I really find cute but I guess the main issue is that she is also a girl and we are from the same church. I really like her but I just want her to be an inspiration and nothing more although Im a bi because my relationship with God is most important. However we are very good friends and talks and texts each other a lot. She always is very supportive of anything I do and laughs at my jokes. However sometimes I invite her to play sports or go out with our other friends but politely refuses. Sometimes she does comes to go out. The issue here is sometimes when we are out watching shows or hanging out in bars our elbows brushed but we both didnt budge. I felt that she even slid it slightly closer. Same when our knees touched under the table in a bar. She removed it after a while to smoothen her skirt but after a few minutes our knees touched again but no one moved. Basically I just want to understand what she might be feeling as well. She will remain just an inspiration to me but Im just also curious. At the end of the day, whatever happens Im happy that we become good friends. We were with friends so while this is happening we are both talking to friends. Our Suggestion: This is all good things. It does sound like she is at least bicurious, and you can either talk to her about it, or just enjoy your mild flirtations. Maybe bring up the subject in an open way, saying, "I wonder how you feel about bisexuality?" If she chooses not to want to discuss it because of her religious conflict, you can just let her be and not bring it up again. But I agree, with you, she does seem interested. You have a very mature viewpoint on the whole thing; she is lucky to have you for a friend! --Your Friendly Advisors at RomanceClass.com
