How do I impress her?Suggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: Okay, so I have this friend, we go to the same art school. We met through her roommate when we were sophomores and we will both be seniors this fall . She's amazing. She is the sweetest, most talented, funny, and beautiful girl I've ever met, however, when we met she had a boyfriend of 2 years. Last fall they broke up, and I was going to make my move in the spring... but she went abroad for the spring semester. While abroad she didn't really talk to anyone online other then her roommates. It was especially weird because she was always so playful and friendly in real life with me. I guess she was just busy...anyways.. I was just wondering what I can do this fall to sweep her off her feet? I guess it may important to add that I can draw and sing... Our Suggestion: It might well be that she really does have a very full life and isn't especially looking for romance right now. She has friends, has had a wonderful time of traveling and exploring, and is also a senior now...in which case she might be focused on what comes next, and not on what is right in front of her. In any case, it sounds like this is a great opportunity for you to use your creativity to make your feelings known. Sit down and think: what sounds sweet and romantic? What do *you* think would sweep someone off their feet? Maybe you can paint her a meaningful painting (or drawing), or ink her a comic book story about the two of you. Write (or select) a song about how you feel, and get some friends to play the music while you sing it to her in a pretty location. Heck, take her out to karaoke with all her friends, and sing several cheesy love songs to her over the course of the night...making sure that the final one you sing is preceded by a dedication to her, right there in front of everyone. Make a treasure hunt for her to follow, full of clues about who is waiting for her at the end (you), with a rose and a kiss. I don't think you should be subtle with this one. Watch movies like Love, Actually and Ten Things I Hate About You, and Prom, and keep your eyes open for the sweet/funny romantic love gestures you can gain inspiration from. Go big and good luck. :-) --Your Friendly Advisors at RomanceClass.com
