My Fiance Cheated All SummerSuggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: My fiancee, after being together had an affair this past summer. She told me and said that she would stop, but she continued all summer. I finally caught her leaving his place and the relationship ended. Am I better off and also I gave her an engagement ring when I asked her to be my wife. I would like the ring back, because it was a promise to be my wife and she is now on her own and having fun with other men. Please give me advise on the above. Our Suggestion: This definitely sounds like someone who is not ready for marriage. Marriage NEVER makes things better. It can make things worse or it can give weight to what you have now. But if she's already cheating and lying, that will just get worse if she feels "trapped". You are definitely far better off without her. You also should get the ring back. Remember, the whole purpose of the ring in history was for a guy to show his intention - with something that would stay in the family for generations. In return the guy got the girl and a huge dowry. You didn't get your dowry and she is not going to create generations of your family. Therefore she doesn't get the ring. Otherwise she could just go around, getting guys to give her rings and then dumping him and running along to the next guy. I honestly believe both the guy and the girl should give each OTHER a ring, that way things would be more fair. --Your Friendly Advisors at RomanceClass.com
