I like a boy - How do I know he likes me?Suggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: Ok Im 14 years old soon to be 15 and theres this boy at school and i sort of like him. My twin asked him if he likes me and he said yes. How do I know he's saying the truth? Our Suggestion: Never, never send someone else to find out someone's feelings!! This person has deep emotions and you're telling them that their feelings are so meaningless that they should just tell them to other people. The ONLY person that those sorts of things should be talked about between are HIM and YOU. The moment you start involving third parties in that, you're asking them to betray their emotions to strangers to the situation. It's not right. Let's say he is annoyed by your sister. Maybe he'd say he liked you just to annoy her and make her feel less special. Let's say he doesn't want to upset your sister by saying "ha ha I like your twin better than I like you". So maybe he'll lie to her so as to not hurt her feelings. Any time you ask a third party to "find something out for you" you add another variable into the equation. Now you are hoping that not only will this person be honest about you - but they'll be honest TO this other person. And you can never trust what they say, because now they could be lying for 80 different reasons. If you like him, get to be friends with him. Liking someone is about enjoying talking to them and spending time with them - it is NOT about just looking at someone from afar and thinking about them! So spend time with him, talk with him, get to know him and be with him. If he likes you, he'll talk to you! If he likes you, he'll spend time with you. And that way you will KNOW he likes you without ever having to actually ask him to his face and risk hearing something that is untrue. Words can be lies. Actions are usually what really count in life. That is how you find out if you really like someone, and if they really like you. --Your Friendly Advisors at RomanceClass.com
