I Want a Date!Suggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: I'm 20, in a great university, am intelligent, nice, athletic, and aparently guys think I'm hot. However, I haven't had a single date in my life and I'm getting really lonely! I'm guessing it has to do with me being shy perhaps, or maybe I'm just looking in all the wrong places or sending out the wrong signals! When I go to clubs guys are all over me, but when it comes to the "real world" no one asks me out. This sucks! How can I be more approachable/dateable??? Our Suggestion: Dating has nothing to do with being hot. It has to do with being a best friend to a guy. People date people they are comfortable with, that they enjoy spending time with. Because that is exactly what dating is all about - two people actively choosing, over and over again, to spend time being together and enjoying that time. So start looking at the male friends you have in your life. Are you close to any? Start building those friendships! If you don't have any male friends, why not? That's the problem right there! Start working on friendships, talking to guys, getting along with guys, sharing interests and hobbies and just talking. The more guy friends you have, the more dates you will have, because those friendships will grow into amazing relationships. --Your Friendly Advisors at RomanceClass.com
