I'm Interested but He's Not RespondingSuggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: I've recently known a guy whom i've become really interested. He is well educated and smart. He has his own recruiting agency, so i sent him my CV (my sister told me about him, she has met him twice at a friend's). He seemed to be very attracted to me and promised to find me a job. He insisted to return me back home saying that he is going the same way (later he told me that he just lied). He also told me his personal life, that he is divorced and that he has two kids. He told me that he really is trying to be very close to his kids and fears that anyday if he marries maybe it will be difficult for the girl since he still financially supports them. He went to ask me that why i am not still married, he said he finds me a beautiful girl and wishes me to marry a man who will understand me and value what I have done (i have just finished my MBA). I felt he really appreciated me and also found me very attractive and intelligent. He also asked me what my hobbies are and also told me about his. I called him one week later as he told me to ask him about the job, he told me that he has given my CV to his secretary and if anything comes up he will inform me. I wanted him to feel easy to start calling me, so I told him that about work its o.k, but that I just called him to say Hello. He was happy and told me that he was also thinking of seeing me and that when his friends leave he will give me a call. However, he didn't. I decided to call him 3 days later to talk to him seriously about the job( I thought I should better have job talk with him so that he shouldn't think I much interested in him and starts thinking I am too easy to get). I asked him if I could do a 2 months management training in his company without pay since i will be leaving the country after 3 months.. He told me that he agrees with that but will call me to discuss about it. He didn't call me. After 3 days , I met him in the airport with his sister. I was with my family. He saw my nephew (he met him in a party just once) and asked him who was travelling, me or my mother. It was my mother. I didn't turn to look at his side at all. My nephew told me that he was all the time turning and looking at our side. I have a feeling that he is attracted to me. How should I get closer to him. I want to start friendship with him and stop discussing about Jobs with him. What should I do. I am really very interested with this guy. Please please help. Our Suggestion: If you're leaving the country in 3 months it might not be the best time to get into a serious relationship with a guy who isn't returning phone calls! He seems to like you when you're around, but isn't willing to put any effort into the relationship himself. Also, his comment about it being tough on a woman because he plans on supporting his kids is very bizarre. Of course a divorced father is going to support his kids! That doesn't mean anything to a woman he dates - she shouldn't be dating him for his money. If you're going to date for your last few months here, I'd date guys who actively are interested in you and in having fun. If you start dating a guy you have to chase down and do all the work for, it just won't be worth it, because that guy will DEFINITELY not put in any effort when you're not around the corner. At least with the other guys you might have a fun pen pal! --Your Friendly Advisors at RomanceClass.com
