How do we Move our Relationship Along?Suggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: I'm a sophmore in college, and this year, I met this new freshman that I really started taking a liking to. We're both music majors; I play piano and she plays the violin. Whenever we talk, we can go literally hours just talking about any and everything. She had her birthday a couple weeks ago, so I decided to take her out for a birthday outting this past Friday. I took her to the big shopping area (the mall more or less) and to a nice mexican restaraunt. We ate and stayed there for 4 hours that night! The entire night, I was being as gentlemanly as possible: opening doors, listening attentively to what she said, etc. She would ask me, "are you sure you don't mind following me around?" referring to when she was browsing at the mall. And I said, "of course not, it gives me time to spend with you." Anyway, the entire night was really nice, and at the end, she gave me a hug and we gave eachother a little peck on the cheek. Although I'm not sure if she is completely into me, just yet, what else can I look for or should do to even further let her know that I'd like to be friends, but more than friends? The bottom line: I'm your typical hopeless romantic type, and she is like the epitome of the girl next door type. I really think that we'd be virtually perfect for one another. Ok, thanks for hearing me out... Our Suggestion: It does sound like you guys are becoming great friends, which is THE most important thing to have in a relationship! So that is really wonderful. I have tips on going from friend to boyfriend - girlfriend - http://www.romanceclass.com/miscr/howto/friendlover.asp Just keep being friends with her, and become more and more romantic as you spend time together. Don't leap out at her - take it slow and easy. If you guys are both musicians that should be especially easy - play her romantic tunes and serenade her :) --Your Friendly Advisors at RomanceClass.com
