He has been coming down and see me on the weekends.We both like each other alot but the only problem is im 14 and he just turned 20. Hes isnt like most 20 year olds. He is very sweet and doesnt pressure me to do things im not ready to do. He says that when i turn 16 that we can date. But everytime after he visits me and leaves i miss him so much! What should i do?!? Should we stop seeing each other on the weekends until im 16? Our Suggestion: Most 14 year olds have crushes :) If he's saying you won't really date until you are 16, then he sounds like a reasonable person. Having a friend that cares for you is always a great thing. There's no reason to give that up! Be sure you don't turn him into an obsession, though. Make sure you do things with your friends, go out and have fun with them. Get some hobbies that you enjoy. You can do things for him, cross stitch him something, or paint something for him. Let your energy for him fuel learning about new arts or crafts or something. Over time your relationship may grow, or it may fade, it will most certainly change. So treasure the fun you're having now, and learn more about how to talk to men and how to handle times apart.
