She Says she Cheated, Then she Says She LiedSuggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: Hello i have a problem, a very, strange problem. i have been with my girlfriend for over two years and recently when i went back to school she cheated on me. I was devasated and mad but i could not leave her because i love her so very much. Then soon she told me she didn't cheat on me, that she lied, and admitted to me that she desired to "experiment" with other people. In addition she says that i am controlling and manipulative and that it was also a built in problem. She says she does not want to leave me but how can i trust her even after such a hurtful lie? Our Suggestion: Wow, she calls YOU controlling after this series of mind games she played with you? Relationships are supposed to be about honesty and trust and about wanting to care for the person you're with. Deliberately lying to them about having cheated on them is about as anti-relationship as you can get. How can you trust her in the future to be honest with you, given what she's proven herself capable of doing? And now she says she wants to fool around with other people? This definitely doesn't sound like a girl who is ready to be settled in a serious relationship. I would let her go. If she really was meant for you, she'll come back to you once she gets this wildness out of her system. But I really think you'll find someone else who is much better for you, who is actually honest with you. --Your Friendly Advisors at RomanceClass.com
