Did She Like Me?Suggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: I've known this lady for almost a year. Several months ago she was sending me all kind of signals, she liked me. She would look deep into my eyes, playfuly touch my arm and leg, just to mention a few. As I look back she was really telling me she was attracted to me. At the time I was a little afraid to take it to the next level. Maybe just not smart enough to know what do do next. Well things cooled off for a couple months and then a couple of weeks ago she started going to lunch with my friend. My buddy said they'e just friends but they go by themselves all the time. We talk from time to time about daily stuff and she still looks deep and long onto my eyes. I've backed off since she's seeing my friend. Still give her a playful hug once in a while, which she doesn't pull away but doesn't respond. I must admit I am a little jealous and mad at myself for letting her slip away. The question is, do you think she's seeing my friend to make me jealous or did I blow it? If she is trying to make me jealous and I don't show it what might happen? How would I handle that? Our Suggestion: Sure, she was flirting with you, but don't look at it that it's "your fault" for not attacking her like a shark. Flirting is about sending clear signals. If all she was doing is playful stuff, heck, half the girls out there do that as a general fun way of life. If she didn't ask you to movies or such, she could (and maybe was) just being vivacious. She's not dating your friend either. She has a fun friend to go to eat with. So you shouldn't let that stop you if you're interested in her. You should never assume that a girl is doing things because she's trying to play mind games with you. That would be a stretch, that she is designing her entire social life around ways to torment you :) She likes going out. She doesn't like going out alone. So she finds people to go with her. If you like her, spend time with her! Offer to go to dinner with her sometime or a movie. Friends do these things all the time. --Your Friendly Advisors at RomanceClass.com
