I treated her like a princessSuggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: I had the most beautiful girlfriend a man could ask for and I truely treated her like a princess. I was spontanious, loving, planned romantic getaways to running bubble baths and the two of us crawled in and sipped wine. But for some reason she now has decided that she has no time to maintain a relationship with me and has let me go. I trust her completely and know its not because of someone else. The worst thing is that we have always been great together and to this day still never fight. That is what I dont understand, she says that she dosnt have it in her heart to carry on a relationship right now but when she doen she wants it to be with me. whats up with this....PS I will never understand girls. Our Suggestion: Hmmm, you seem to feel that a woman wants to date a servant :) I do agree that you seem to have treated her very nicely. But if that's all a relationship was about, then women could just hire a servant and have done with it. Relationships are about far more than one person waiting on the other hand and foot. They are about two people growing together, challenging each other to new and greater things. It could be that she felt she had been placed on a pedestal and was being treated like a princess instead of a real person. That's not a relationship that can be sustained for long. It could be that she just wanted to be alone for a while, where she could be herself and just relax. It could be that this relationship with you was extremely high maintenance, and with the other things in her life, she needed time to get the 'real world' work of her life done. Romantic love is DEFINITELY a great thing! And it's a good way to spark up a relationship. But it can't be THE relationship. The relationship has to be about reality, about accepting each other's real hopes and fears and wishes, and dealing with real life. He real life needs may just not have meshed well with your caviar and champagne plans. The only way to know is to TALK to her. Hopefully somewhere in between the bubbles and beaujolais, you built up a solid communication line. If so, use it! The only way you ever know how another person is feeling is to ask them. Ask her honestly what she was missing. You might get an answer! --Your Friendly Advisors at RomanceClass.com
