Visitor's Question: How do I finally end a relationship that is off and on, hot and cold all the time? I have wanted to see the relationship come to an end for several months now, but I can't seem to make the end stick. Several times I have even left her, but I always go back. Why? It is frustrating to know that I allow myself to go back, because that means that the woman I am dating knows that she can change my mind if she applies enough psycholocical pressure. I would love to get any ideas about how others have ended a dysfunctional relationship once and for all. Our Suggestion: You act as if you're a lost puppy who does not control his own life :) You control if you pick up the phone or not. You control if you speak or not. So break up with her. Tell her it's final and that you need a break. Then simply do not take her calls. Do not see her. If there's anything you need to learn in life, it is how to stand up for yourself.
