I Want to Give a HickeySuggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: I worked on my guys neck for 45 minutes, sucking , biting , kissing , nibbling ect. and he got NO mark !? then i did the same thing on my own arm and made a bruise . . what`s wrong ? Our Suggestion: Every human body is different. Remember, a hickey is a bruise, and a bruise is about broken blood vessels. So in essence you are damaging their body, just as if you hit them with a baseball bat or something. It's rather strange that we find this to be a good thing :) So you may have lots of blood vessels, and he may have few. You might have high blood pressure, he might have low blood pressure. You might have soft skin, he might have thick skin. There are just so many factors involved! Hickeys are fun when you first get into dating as sort of a way to "brand" your boyfriend/girlfriend as taken, but to be honest when I talked to a number of 20 and 30 year olds about doing sample hickeys for me to answer questions like these, NONE of them wanted to do them. They didn't think the work and pain was worth it. So in the grand scheme of things, hickeys just aren't that high on the list of fun, lasting skills to learn. If you want to brand him, buy him a necklace or bracelet (or make one from a kit) that he'll always wear. That's far more personal and lasting! --Your Friendly Advisors at RomanceClass.com
