Suggest Advice
Do you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: me and my boyfriend have been going out a little over 2 years now.. we are always together.. we dont go out and do anything together hardly... its always sit home and watch movies.. He grew up in XXXX so he visits there sometimes and when he does he will have a few beer with his friends.. but i feel like he is going out and partying.. I get so mad cuz im up here taking care of mine and his daughter while he can have fun..and i always gets jelous and thinks hes gona get drunk and cheat on me and that hes flirting with other girls. We went home for christmas and his friend asked him to go party with him.. and we were just after going out for supper so i asked him if he was going and he said yes.. He dropped me off and went out.. and got home late and didnt call me the next day... So now hes up here with me and he has been working with my dad in nova scotia.. and this girl called here yesterday asking for him.. how can i tell if hes cheatin gon me... and is it normal for me to feel like i cant trust him.. and always being so afraid of what he'll do seeming im not there with him and jelous? Our Suggestion: It is not normal to not trust someone in a relationship. It sounds like he's trying to have his cake and eat it too. Gently tell him how you feel and ask if he'd be willing to make a deal with you. For the nights he goes out, you get to go out another nite with your friends, or he has to take you out and pay for the sitter. If he doesn't agree, then there are some issues that you will need to address, such as leaving a man who doesn't respect you.
