my boyfriend of 3 1/2 years can't stop lying to me. Our relationship was amazing and he has truly saved me in so many ways, he made me believe in love. but lately he lies to me, and whats worse it that he does it while he's looking into my eyes. The lies all have to do w/ his friends and the main issue is that he sells pain killers. I don't want that in my life and if we end up together w/kids i definetly don't want it in their lives. He's a wonderful man but he refuses to be straight with me. Can you ever trust someone who's hurt you so many times, and if i can, should I. My heart is broken.



Our Suggestion:
The big thing is that your boyfriend is a drug dealer and probably a user. He is lying to cover up that fact that he sells and knows that it would hurt the relationship and that he may also be using.

The only way you could ever trust him again is if he stopped, and if he is using to seek treatment. However, this won't happen over night it will take years.

The big question is whether or not he's capable of stopping his illegal activities. Usually it takes prison and then it doesn't always work.

I'm sorry to say it, but you would probably be better off without him.
