He is divorced with a 3 year old daughter. He is very busy with work/study and his daughter but he always makes time for me and we see each other at least 4-5times each week. We also spend alot of time together on the weekends. He is really sweet and we laugh alot together. I think I am falling in love with him. He has not said anything to me about how he feels, but he calls me gorgeous and honey all the time. I have met his daughter quite a few times and we get on quite well together. Even his ex-wife is happy for him. I guess I had hoped he had fallen in love with me by now. Am I expecting too much. I do not wish to pressure him by asking......what should I do ??? Am I just being insecure because I am ready to have a family of my own ?? Our Suggestion: Four months is a REALLY short period of time to be making any sorts of final answers about! Yes, he like you. Yes, you like him! That is all wonderful. But that is simply not enough time to really know enough about a person to say "OK I am ready for an until-death-do-we-part statement". You are still in the new-love rush and haven't gotten through the normal ups and downs of a relationship. He has already had one failed relationship in his life. He doesn't want to expose his daughter and himself to that same risk again. There's no rush here. You two are happy together. Life stretches out before you both for 50 or more years. It is critical that you build the foundation here, together, slowly. If you do it properly, you will be happy for decades.
