The problem i have is i stutter a lot, its really hard to speak.Suggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: I am turning 18 soon. Time has gone really fast, like it always does. I have a problem with my self, i dont think this would ever go away, i have gotten used to it for a long time, but there isnt really much i can do. I try not to show my feelings, because of what people might say because i am a guy. I have been rejected a lot of times and try not to show my feelings. I dont think i am eye catching. The problem i have is i stutter a lot, its really hard to speak. Ive had this since i was born, and i am in low in confedance about the way i am in front of people. Asking a girl out is the hardest part, where, i cant go up to one anymore and speak to her because of my stuttering problem. I try my hardest to not fancey anyone, i tend to look at them a lot on the street or even at college, i do get dirty looks sometimes, but thats the way it is. Is there any other way i can ask a girl out, its hard for me because i stutter, but does a girl ever go up to a guy and flirt. My friends always tell me " when i am ever getting a girl", its a question i really hate. I dont think i can get one, but is it nice living alone in life?. I do think about being lonely when i am older, is that good or bad. thanks Our Suggestion: Have you seen a doctor about this, and what has he said? I have a friend who stuttered, but then grew out of it. I find his occasional stutter to be charming, not irritating. He's a great guy. I would strongly suggest that you find girls through the internet, through match.com or yahoo's personals. Spend the time chatting through email or through IM first and gradually tell her that you have a small stuttering problem. By the time she really meets you, you'll be in love already so such a small thing won't be an impediment to your love for one another. You can also try Toastmaster's, which is a group of people who are all working to get over fear of talking in front of a group. They certainly have dealt with people who have issues, so they would be able to help you as well. Good luck! --Your Friendly Advisors at RomanceClass.com
