Theres a girl i really like and im friends with herSuggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: Hey! Im really confused. Now im 13 and going into 8th grade. Theres a girl i really like and im friends with her but i dont think she likes me like that. im friends with her but on a level of just talking to her in class and saying hi in hallways but i still get horribly nervous. i never accualy went out with anyone, im not exactly good looking or "cool" either. shes just a really cool person to talk to and doesnt judge people. but theres another side to it. as much as i doubt it, i think this one girl that i know through my sister who is also in my grade might like me. i mean i say hi to her on every occasion i see her(like to every other person i know, im trying to be as nice to people as i can, unlike people have been to me) and she always says hi back to me(suprise ;))might sound stupid because you expect people to say hi back but even some of my good friends that are girls dont like to talk to me at school. when she says it, it just doesnt sound right. shes really nice but she gives me a nice nice smile or it seems to me. im just nervous to ask people out and i read the other articles here and i just cant get over it. i do hope both would be interested in me but im not a very optimistic person. plus the girl i think likes me, her brother is dating my sister...i dont know how that would work out...please help! thank you! and great site by the way, like the template! Our Suggestion: Relationships are always tough to start! You are definitely not alone. The best way to proceed with these girls is to become closer friends to them. That way, you can make the transition from friend to more-than-friend in an easy step instead of going from stranger to boyfriend in one large step. Ask them about their days, ask about their classes, ask about their favorite movie... the key to being a conversationalist is to get the other person to talk about themselves.
