I scared of going to a therapist cause i think it shows im weak

I am on anti depressants and have been for about two weeks now.the last week i ave started to change my diet by eaten loads of fruit and drinkin loads of water.I have always been a junk food fizzy drink person not really ate greens or that.The last week since i ave done this i have felt calmer and and full of energy.but the last few days i ave seemed to drop down again a little by gettin a little panicky and findin it difficult to be social.always have had a depression problem and anxiety problem.i am takin tablets because i want to get better and be more healthy.am i being impatient to thinkin i will be well again quickly?and how important is havin a long sleep.Myself and girlfriend are slowly gettin back together and want her to see the benefits of me lookin and feelin better.she says she does and thinks its great but im strugglin with the bad days im havin .I scared of going to a therapist cause i think it shows im weak.is this wrong?thanks

Going to a therapist is about as weak as going to a doctor. When you have a broken leg, do you say, "I don't want to seem weak." NO, you go and get it healed. You're broken right now, you're having a lot of difficulties with relationships while battling depression. You are being strong and sensible to go to a therapist... why are you writing into a love advice web site? Because you want some help coping with a very difficult situation. Going to therapy is the exact same thing, but you get an hour's worth of attention from a professional. Much better for your situation.
