I have caught him cheating on me more than once.Suggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: I have just got your answer on a question that I have asked earlier in the day. Now here is my situation, we have lived together for a while now. I have caught him cheating on me more than once. I want to say I am done and I can't fight anymore, but he makes it so hard for me. He apoligizes over and over again to me, tells me that I am the only one he could ever love, and that these others girls mean nothing to him and he can't explain why he is not faithful to me. He treats my daughter (not his) and myself like gold, he gives us everything we could ever want or need, but he can't be true to me. He keeps calling and coming around, I just don't know how I can ever trust him. How do I let go and make him let go? The financial situation is that he has a car that is in my name and I can't afford to make the payments on it. Our Suggestion: First off, sell the car to him. If he needs to take out a personal loan then so be it. You need to pay it off and get him on the bill of sale. Second, since his faithfulness is important to you and you care a lot about him and he's great in all other areas but this, you might try counselling first before you throw in the towel. Get him in front of someone who can call him on his cheating and maybe get him to change his behavior. There's something going on for him and if he can solve it, you can stay together. But it means he's got to do the work for it to succeed. If you're set about making him leave, then it's just a matter of packing him up and moving him out. Once he's gone, you're going to have a really rough time getting over him, so pamper yourself and your daughter, and every time you start feeling sad about losing him, remind yourself of the reasons it wasn't going to work out and that you're a much stronger person without him than with him.
