He sends butterflies through my system and makes me nervous and even giddySuggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: Okay here's the situation I work on youth staff at the church I attend with this really great guy that I started to notice a lot more lately, and I think he feels the same way. However, he sends mixed signals at times one week he's telling me he loves seeing my smile that its beautiful and the next he hardly talks to me at all. He sends butterflies through my system and makes me nervous and even giddy and smile-y, I've never had a guy do that to me. Not even when I was thirteen. Two of the people who are our mutual friends are getting married in July, he's close to the groom and I am close to the bride so I'm sure that he will be attending also. I want to ask him to go together, because I'm afraid that is the only way to ever find out if he really likes me and to prevent my well meaning friends from doing something they shouldn't. My fear is should I ask him? I was always sort of brought up that that's the guys job and I'm also afraid of the akwardness that it might create if he doesn't like me too, but all the signals seem to point to the he likes me too. Help please! Our Suggestion: You have a golden opportunity here. Go up to him and say, "you know that Marty and Frida are going to try to set us up anyhow. Do you want to go with me, and that way we don't have to deal with their matchmaking?" So you're saying you want to go as friends while acknowledging that those two think there's more possible between you. And once he says yes, which he should, then you have the opportunity to hang out with him and get closer to him. You should be doing this anyhow by spending time with him and flirting. The best dates come from best friends. Develop a closer friendship with him and you're on the road to success! Good luck! --Jenn --Your Friendly Advisors at RomanceClass.com
