i have this friend, shes really sweet, nice, and extremely funny and great to be around. The only problem is she has a serious boyfriend, but it seems like shes getting really close to me. i dont know her boyfriend very well at all, hes three years older than me, but i feel like me and her are getting really close. what do i do?



Our Suggestion:
When you're in a situation where you like someone that's seriously dating someone else, you have to think of it this way --- if she were seriously dating you, would you want her to fall in love with someone new while with you? So, if you hate that idea, then why are you considering having her do that to her current boyfriend?

Have the decency to respect her current relationship so that if it does fail, then you can step in and know that she's not a girl who cheats on her boyfriend.

In the meantime, you might want to date some new girls so that you are not just pining away waiting.
