I have found myself thinking about him all the time!Suggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: I have became very good friends with this guy I met about a year ago thru our children who are in the same class. We have alot in common and get along great. We also are single parents who take on total responsibility of our children. He has three and I have one child. Since we both have been hurt in the past it's hard for us to trust to get in another relationship. We started having sex about 7 months ago with no feelings attached, just friendship and companionship. We have both openly talked about not being able to get involve with anyone. During the past month I have found myself thinking about him all the time! I don't know what to do, I want to be with him in every way but he doesn't want a relationship. I feel like I should try to stay away but when I try I feel guilty that I myself have said I don't want a relationship. I feel like he might think that I don't know what I really want. and I feel like I am suppose to be this good friend to him and not cause any more problems than he already has. We talk everyday, sometimes 2 or 3 times a day and are having sex every chance we get. I feel lost!!! Our Suggestion: This is not unusual at all. "Friends with benefits" somehow shifts to a more romantic feeling and then both people are left feeling at a loss of what to do about it. Since you do have this friendship, which is the basis of all good relationships, you can broach the subject and say that you value his friendship most of all, and that you feel you're ready for a real relationship, and you wonder if it might be time to discuss whether this could turn into more, or if you should go looking elsewhere. This will open up the discussion without really putting him on the spot. I wish you luck! --Jenn --Your Friendly Advisors at RomanceClass.com
