How can I show her that I love her more than anything in the worldSuggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: Ok, I'm back again for another question about this girl that I still madly love, but cannot bring myself to get over. I didn't realize how perfect she was for me until I started dating her, because I didn't really know her that well. We hooked up on a high school honor band trip to Tennessee this last February. I knew from the start that it had potential to be something very special, but had no idea that I would fall so fast for her so quickly. It just happened and then about a month ago, she suddenly breaks up with me saying that she loves me, but can never see herself being in love with me. I was so shocked because I never wanted the relationship to end. Now, her and I are trying to be friends, but lately when I call her, all she talks about is this guy, who I can't even see what she sees in. She's currently "dating" my friend, another guy that she dated for a year and a half, but she claims that this other guy that she always talks about is perfect for her and that they have so much in common. My friend that she's dating and I recently graduated from the high school that her and the other guy still attend. On top of everything, her parents don't like either my friend or the other guy, but are absolutely in love with me. I even think that they saw me as their possible future son in law. As a result, her relationship with her parents has been seriously on the rocks for a while now. Personally, I feel that I am the best guy for her, but the last thing I want to do is lose her friendship. I love her so much and I just want her to be happy. I was mainly asking how can I show her that I love her more than anything in the world when she's in love with this other guy and trying to hold on to an old flame that she knows can't last, all at the same time. I want her back so badly. Please help me in some way, of you can. Our Suggestion: There's really no way around this. She's going out with someone new and you're going to have to accept it for now. It may very well be that she tires of this new guy and seeks you out again, but you can't count on it. You're going to have to swallow your feelings and let her go. It's very hard, as you well know, but it's something you're going to have to do. Every time you see her, tell yourself that you'll always treasure what you had with her, and you'll treasure her friendship, but that everything else is over. If you repeat it enough times, your heart will listen. But it does take time. I wish you the best. --Jenn --Your Friendly Advisors at RomanceClass.com
