Visitor's Question:
Ok. Me and my girlfriend have been together for awhile and I truely love her. And she truely loves me. But one of my friends likes her. He is always trying to flirt with her and all kinds of stuff like that. At one point awhile ago she did like him. She is always promising me that him and her will always be just friends, but I dont know what to think. I found out the other day that he likes her. I know that she loves me, and nothing will happen between him and her, but it really bothers me that he is always flirting with her.

Ok, so the bottom line is that I know nothing will happen between him and her, but him always flirting with her really gets to me. I know nothing will happen, and I know that she doenst like him. But Im afraid that she will start to like him.

Please, what do you think I should do. I know that she doenst like him, but im afraid she might start to. And i know nothing will happen with them, but them always flirting really gets to me. Please, what should I do. Help me, please. I love her more than anything, and I never want to loose her. How can I make them flirting not get to me? Help me, please.

Our Suggestion:
You're feeling a little insecure and jealous, which are normal feelings. But relationships are built on trust and faith. Trust that she'll remain true, and faith that your relationship is strong enough to weather this speedbump.

First, if she truly loves you, then nothing will come between you. She won't fall for the flirtation because her heart's already taken up with you. If she's flirting back, then talk with her about it and say that it's unsettling to you and you wish she would stop.

Second, you should have a talk with your friend and tell him to keep his hands in his pockets and not interfere with your relationship. Find him a date, find cute bunnies for him to chase. If you distract him enough, he'll leave your girl alone. Whenever he starts flirting with her, say, "Go get your own girl. This one's taken." If you take a stand, then he'll back down rather than make a scene.

I wish you luck!
