Is it really possible for someone to genuinely fall in love with the person they cheated on..Suggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: Is it really possible for someone to genuinely fall in love with the person they cheated on..my girlfriend of 2 years swears she has seen the light finally..but im from the school of thought...that once a person cheats...they will never be truly in love with you regardless of what they say or do..I just have never seen it happen personally...after someone has cheated ..i feel they will always be something lacking from their point of view..am i wrong? Our Suggestion: Yes. I think that someone can suddenly realize that they truly love their partner after cheating. In some cases, I think that the love would be stronger, because they truly see by comparison how wonderful their partner is compared to this loser cheating guy they were seeing. Yes, there will always be a stain on the relationship, but over time it can fade and wash away. The trust needs to be rebuilt and the faith that the relationship will last must be reinstated. Key thing to realize: There were problems and reasons that she cheated. Those problems and reasons need to be dealt with and fixed, or else this may come up again, which you definitely don't want. No one cheats just because they're horny. They cheat because they're not fulfilled in the relationship or they're feeling lonely or neglected, or they need a break from the stress their life is giving them. Whatever the reason, that needs to be fixed as soon as possible. I suggest counselling to get to the bottom of it and mend both your ways, because relationships are built between two people and when it fails, both have some part in the break. I wish you luck. --Your Friendly Advisors at RomanceClass.com
